Melissa Monroe Named Lane Rehabilitation Center Nurse Manager
Melissa Monroe, RN, BSN, MSN has been named Nurse Manager for Lane Rehabilitation Center at Lane Regional Medical Center.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she is responsible for coordinating all aspects of nursing care for the unit, including patient satisfaction, staffing and physician relations.
A graduate of Our Lady of the Lake School of Nursing, she received her Masters of Healthcare Systems Management from Loyola University. She is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and was the 2013 winner of the Edith Lobue Leadership Award.
Monroe has more than 21 years of healthcare experience, including more than 10 years of healthcare administration. Prior to this position she was Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.
Monroe is a resident of Central and has two children, Brandy and Seth.
