CMS Students Recognized for Artistic Talent

By  |

The following students were accepted into the spring 2014 "Celebrating Art" anthology. This is a national competition that recognizes the top quality student art through a juried process to be included in the "yearbook" published 3 times per year. Each student is only allowed to enter 1 work for each deadline date and many of these students put amazing amounts of time into these projects to obtain the standards expected of talented art students and to be selected as part of the top 25% of the student art in the country.
Mr. Howerton, the talented art teacher at Central Middle School, says he is very proud to see this much success in this event and wanted to share this so that students can be recognized.  Student honorees, all in 7th or 8th grade, are listed below with their artwork titles.
