Chaneyville Fire District 7 Receives Fire Code Upgrade

Press Release – Chaneyville Fire Department is proud to announce Chaneyville Fire District7 has lowered the fire rating from a fire rating of #5 to a fire rating of #4. This new classification may result in decreased fire insurance rates. Properties located within the boundaries of East Baton Rouge Parish Chaneyville Fire District7 who are within seven road miles of a recognized fire station and within 1,000 feet of a standard fire hydrant, if required, will receive Class 4 rating.
