Small Business Saturday is a nationwide event that encourages communities to shop small. We as a community would like to make our citizens more aware of how important it is to Shop, Eat, and Support Central. For more information, call the Central Chamber of Commerce at 261-5818.
What businesses need to do to participate:
• Use the marketing materials and schedules that the committee has put together.
• Create a promotion and/or events at your business on that day
• Everyone that has participated in your deal will be entered into a drawing. You can have individual drawings at your store throughout the day. Please keep all entries for a grand prize drawing that will be held on December 5 at Central’s Tree Lighting Ceremony.
• T-Shirts can be purchased with the Shop, Eat, and Support Central logo. Employees can wear them if you would like leading up to the event. You can order these shirts from CrossThreads at 262-0104. Let them know your order by November 13. For shirt pricing and other details, call the Chamber at 261-5818.
• Spread the word to any Central business that would benefit from this effort.
