Central Bloomers to Decorate Library Christmas Tree

    Central Bloomers Garden Club finished up the 2013 year with their annual plant swap meeting held in September at the home of Brenda Thevenet. Club members swapped different or interesting plants in the traditional White Elephant Game.  It was great fun for club members, as we got to share different things from our gardens. 
    In October, the annual business meeting was held at the home of Margaret Shipley.   In addition to electing officers for the coming year, the club launched a website. www.centralbloomers.com . Please visit our site for information about plants and landscapes, as well as upcoming club activities. 
    The Central Bloomers Garden Club will once again be decorating the Christmas Tree at the Central Branch Library. It can be viewed during the month of December. 
    Refreshments at both meetings were served by club members. Central Bloomers Garden Club would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday Season.
