Missing Child, Happy Ending

EBRSO Deputies from the Central Substation were dispatched to Bellingrath after a 3 year old was reported missing, having wandered out into the woods with the family dog. Deputies searched the area woods with the family to no avail. Deputy Caruso went with the mother down a trail to the banks of the Amite River where he spotted the family dog 250 yards up river. Deputy Caruso ran through the woods to a sandy beach area and found the young boy healthy and unharmed. This was Good News for a Great City, and Great News for a relieved family. Thank you EBRSO.
