Central Private School Girls’ Relay Team JV and Varsity District Champs

    The Central Private School JV and Varsity Track Teams recently competed in their district meets with outstanding results.  The JV Girls’ Relay Team (Reagan Baggett, Gracie Brian, Shelby Romero, Samantha Romero),won District JV 1st Place in both the 4×100 and the 4×200 relays.  The 4×400 Relay Team (Lauren Bihm, Raven Monson, Madison Nunnery, Olivia Wells) took a District 4th.  Individual JV placement went to Shelby Romero, 1st in 100m Run and 5th in Triple Jump; Samantha Romero, 1st in 200m Run and 2nd in Long Jump; Gracie Brian, 3rd in 100m Hurdles; Reagan Baggett, 3rd in 100m Run; Lauren Bihm, 5th in High Jump; Olivia Wells, 5th in 400m Run; and Madison Nunnery, 5th in 300m Hurdles.
    In the Varsity District Track Meet on Thursday, April 19, the 4×200 Relay Team (Reagan Baggett, Gracie Brian, Samantha Romero, Shelby Romero) took District Varsity 1st place and will compete at the South State AA Track Meet on Saturday, April 21, in both the 4×100 and 4×200 Relays.  The Girls 4x400m Relay Team (Lauren Bihm, Raven Monson, Madison Nunnery, Olivia Wells) also qualified for the South State Meet.  Other individual qualifiers in running events are:  Reagan Baggett and Shelby Romero – 100m Run; Samantha Romero – 200m Run; and Matt Myers in Boys 110m Hurdles.
    Field event qualifiers are Boys:  Brennan West – Shot Put; Luke Fryoux – Discus; Syrshawn Fitch – High Jump; and Girls: Samantha Romero – Long Jump.
