Above are photos of the delivery of funds from the fundrasier Raising Cane’s hosted for Central Intermediate School and Tanglewood. Together, they raised about $1500 for the schools.  Pictured in the photos are the Tanglewood (top) and Central Intermediate Principals and Vice Principals receiving the checks from Cane’s.

Also coming up is Lemonade Day on May 7th.  It is free to all kids to register, and info bags are free at Cane’s.  Lemonade Day is a big campaign with lots of exposure.  It teaches kids to advertise, invest, build, and sell their lemonade stands and lemonade.  After the day is done, the program teaches them to repay their investors, save 1/3 of the money, donate 1/3 to charity, and spend the other 1/3.  Cane’s has an extensive education program that they do for the elementary schools each year also.  They donate supplies to all of the elementary schools in Central for a reading program and an achievement program.
