Business Spotlight: Legworks by Terri

    Legworks by Terri dance studio, “Central’s Original Dance Studio,” is located at 8857 Sullivan Road between Lovett and Hooper Road in the Sullivan shopping center.  Legworks has been a part of dancers’ lives from tiny tots to adults for 25+ years and it continues growing each year.  They currently operate Monday- Thursday, offering 23 classes in ballet, lyrical, character, hip-hop, and tap to over 300 students from age 2- adult.  They guarantee to have a class to fit your dancer’s needs, from the beginning dancer to the advanced.

    Terri Peterson, owner and one of the instructors, was born and raised in Central and attended Central High School.  Legworks staff consists of 5 instructors and 20 assistants who carry years of experience and credentials and are ready to share their knowledge and love for dance with your dancer!

    Legworks dancers stay busy throughout the year.  They can be seen at various events such as Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, halftime performances at Champs Holiday, Sugar, and Orange Bowls, PrimeTime Dancers at New Orleans Hornets basketball games, Disney World, and countless community events.  The dancers most recently performed at Central’s Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

    Legworks focuses on making each and every dancer feel special, as your dancer will be part of a loving and fun dance family.
