West Feliciana intercepted a pass in the endzone on the last play of the game to secure the loss for the Wildcats, 20-22.

The offense played great in the first half when they were able to drive to the West Feliciana 30 yard line before turning it over on downs. Four plays later, on a bad snap to the Saints punter, he was able to pick up the ball and run 68 for their first TD. The Wildcat offense with big blocks by Cameron Hooper, Cameron Whesley, Brett Skinner helped Kevin Henry score on a 1 yard run, his extra point run was short to make the score 6-8. The Saints were able to take the ball down the field and score with :07 seconds left to go ahead at half, 6-14.

After stopping the Saints on their first drive, Justin Vessel ran 50 yards to cut the score to 12-14, but the Saint scored on the next offensive play when the QB ran 80 yards to widen the score. After an onside kick by the Saints, and four plays, there was less than 2 minutes on the clock when Justin Vessel was able to score his second TD on a 40 yard run, and a Henry EP to make the score 20-22. With big defensive stops by Jett Ashford, Jaylon Richardson, Thomas Doucet and Jeremiah Mayes, the Wildcats recovered a fumble on their 40. With good runs by Henry and Vessel, the ball was on the 6 with :02 left when Kevin Henry’s pass to Ben Averette was intercepted to end the game.  The Wildcats would like to thank the student body for their encouragment during the game.
