Central High School football games will be broadcast live on both the radio and the internet this coming season.  WPFC radio, 1550 AM in Baton Rouge, will be broadcasting all CHS games (all 10 regular season games and any playoff games).  Also, this is the fourth straight year that all Central High School football games will be carried live online at www.SportsGumbo.net.  The first broadcast will be next Friday, September 3, when the Wildcats open up their season at Port Allen High School.  The pre-game broadcast will begin at 6 p.m. each week.  Josh Ward and Scott Osborne will return for the third year calling all of the football action.

If your business would like to sponsor this effort, sponsorships to Central High School football broadcasts are available on a season-long basis (regular season and playoffs).  Your sponsorship directly helps put these broadcasts on air.  The following plans are available for the 10-week sponsorship and playoffs:

  1. At least 6- 30 second commercials per broadcast: $170/week*
  2. At least 5 commercials: $150/week
  3. At least 4 commercials: $130/week
  4. At least 3 commercials: $110/week

With all 4 plans, you receive a link and name mention on the SportsGumbo.net website.

*This top plan includes sponsorship of the pre-game, half-time, post-game, or player of the game spots, available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Also, you will have commercial exclusivity in your business category (subject to certain provisions).

Central High School football broadcasts are Jon Fine Sports Productions.  Jon produces a number of area sports shows, including the Sid Edwards Show (Thursdays 5-6 p.m., WPFC 1550 AM, Baton Rouge and on SportsGumbo.net).  For more information on Jon Fine Sports Productions, please visit www.SportsGumbo.net.
