Sports Bill Concerning Home School Students Sent to Governor

By  |

House Bill 303 has been approved by the Lousiana House and Senate and has been sent to Governor Jindal for his signature.  The bill addresses home school students and their ability to participate in high school sports.  Should Jindal sign the bill, home school students around the state would be allowed to ask high school principals for permission to try out for high school sports.  The final say in the decision will belong to the individual principals, and the bill applies to Louisiana High School Athletic Association member schools only.  View more details about this by reading the article HERE.
