Census Update

We are now entering a new phase in the CENSUS PROCESS.  Census Questionnaires are no longer available.  All households that have not returned a completed questionnaire will be visited by CENSUS STAFF. Training of that staff will take place this week.
NO need to mail in the form at this time as you will be visited if they do not have your form in hand.
 
STAFF will begin visiting households on MAY 1st. 
Please be expecting the CENSUS TAKERS in CENTRAL
ON MAY 1st. 
 
ALL CENSUS TAKERS should be wearing census badges.  If you any questions please call the Toll Free Number  – 1-866-872-6868.
 
The current return rates as of April 26 are:
EBRParish ————-  67%                  
BAKER —————–  69%
BATON ROUGE —–  63%
CENTRAL ————-  74%***
ZACHARY ————- 73%
 
Thanks and  Appreciation to all of the Central Count Committee for all their hard work in getting the word out about filling in the forms and getting them mailed into the Census Bureau.  I appreciate the Committee’s efforts in handing out flyers at schools, churches and businesses of Central and speaking at functions they attended.  The Count Committee was a true leader in accomplishing our assigned task.
