CHS Baseball Players Volunteer at Bellingrath

By  |

According to Belligrath Hills Assistant Principal, Terrie Junda, the Central High Baseball players did a great job helping the elementary students with their quarterly PBS program.  Ms Junda said they love having groups from Central High come over and spend time connecting and building relationships with their students.  The boys were very polite and very encouraging to the kids while playing baseball-themed games.  Even the baseball guys had a good time!  Central High’s football and basketball teams have also participated with PBS celebrations at Bellingrath this year. PBS, or Positive Behavior Support, is a program that rewards students for good grades and behavior. Students earn the ability to participate in special acivities and earn small prizes as part of this reward system designed to reinforce positive behavior.
