Covenant Community Church is having their Joyful Hearts (ages 50+) this Thursday, December 17.

Blackwater United Methodist Church is putting on “A Night in Bethlehem” on Saturday, December 19 in the church gym. This will be a reproduction of the sort of scene you would find surrounding the Christmas story in Bethlehem. It will run from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Volunteers at Zoar Baptist Church will be assembling and wrapping gifts for free this Sunday, December 20 from 3 PM to 7 PM. This service is intended for those in need. Bring gifts to the church gym for assembly or wrapping. If you have a large or complicated item that needs assembly, please have it at the church at 3 so it can be assembled by 7 PM. As for wrapping, shirt boxes will be the only boxes offered, so bring your own box if you need a larger one. St. Alphonsus has begun collecting Christmas cards for next year to distribute through their prison ministry. As cards go on sale this season, pick some up to donate to the cause. Drop off card donations to the church office on Greenwell Springs Road.
