Christmas in Central 2009

christmas7These are the scheduled events for the kickoff of the 2009 Christmas season in Central. All Central residents are invited to take part in each activity.

Friday, December 4, 6:30 PM: Central Community tree lighting at the corner of Hooper and Sullivan Roads. There will be choirs from Zoar Baptist and St. Alphonsus, as well as scripture readings and the tree lighting.

Friday, December 4- Sunday, December 6: There will be a fair at Central Middle School with games and rides for the kids.

Saturday, December 5, 9 AM-4 PM: Arts and Crafts Fair in the Central Middle School cafeteria. Local artists and craftsmen will have unique items for sale. These things make great gifts, so keep that in mind as you shop in Central this holiday season.

Saturday, December 5, 10 AM: The Central Christmas Parade will begin at Zoar Baptist and march down Hooper Road to Central Middle School.

Saturday, December 5, 12 PM-4 PM: The Central Business Expo will be held in the Central Middle School gym. Central businesses will have booths set up so Central residents can stop by and see what each business has to offer.

Saturday, December 5, 1 PM: The Central High School choir will have their Christmas in Central performance in the Central Middle gym.

Christmas lighting displays sponsored by local churches and businesses will be up at the corner of Hooper and Sullivan through New Years.
