CIS First All Pro Dads Breakfast a Success
On September 17, Central Intermediate School had its first All Pro Dads Breakfast. The turnout was overwhelming: more than 75 dads with their children showed up before school for breakfast. All Pro Dads breakfasts bring fathers and their children together in a fun way to discuss topics like peer pressure, goal setting, and caring for the less fortunate. One of the highlights was hearing a young girl tell her Dad, “See, Dad, I told you this was going to be fun!” The next meeting will be October 15th at Central Intermediate School. Donnie Shaffer, the All Pro Dad Team Captain and Pastor of The Church on Central, would like to thank Mrs Rhonda Taylor, Principal of Central Intermediate and Jeremy Obanion, CIS Assistant Principal, for their support.
