The Rebels were able to start the scoring early as they put two runs on the board in the top of the first inning when Gage Wilkinson and Travis were able to cross the plate after Bowling Green throwing errors. Austin Hughes scored the only run for the Buccaneers after a single by Evan Smith. Two of the Buccaneers’ three hits came in the first inning. The Rebels picked up 3 runs in the third, 3 more in the sixth, and single runs in the fifth and seventh. Rose had 2 runs and 2 RBIs for the Rebels. Chase Metz also scored twice and had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Central Private now has an overall record of 20-1.
