Mayor Holden to Conduct Listening Tour of East Baton Rouge Parish

By  |

E.B.R.P. Mayor-President Melvin L. “Kip” Holden and his administration will conduct a listening tour of East Baton Rouge Parish to gather input from citizens on priorities for the future.

“Our administration has been based on a process that welcomes citizen input to determine the best direction for the future of East Baton Rouge Parish,” Mayor Holden said.  “As we begin a new term of office for my administration, we want to spend two weeks meeting in neighborhoods throughout the parish to make it more convenient for people to share with us their vision for our city-parish.”

In addition to Mayor Holden, top officials from the administration will be on hand to hear citizens’ ideas.  To assure all ideas are collected for consideration, those attending will be able to fill out cards stating priorities and individual requests will be directed to the appropriate staff for handling.

“I hope everyone will invite a neighbor and come out to talk with us about how we can work together to continue building a great future for East Baton Rouge Parish,” Holden said.
