St. Alphonsus Auction and Taste Fair

On February 7, 2009 at 6pm St. Alphonsus Family Center St. Alphonsus will host an evening of entertainment and excitement.

Please join us and take advantage of an opportunity to bid on great items in the silent and live auctions such as fishing trips, paintings, photography, utility trailers, autographed LSU memorabilia, set of 4 tires, vacations, an antique John Deere tractor, a beautiful female boxer puppy, youth 4-wheeler and much, much more!

The doors will open at 6pm with the start of the silent auction while enjoying musical entertainment by Johnny Gossip featuring Jeff Hood and Toby Templet. The event will include a cash bar and a variety of food. Area vendors such as Carlton’s, Al Smith’s Catering, Kristenwood, Sammy’s Grill, Reflections, Caliente, Cooper Catering, Fox’s Pizza, Chris’ Specialty Meats, Café Roux, Nine Dragon, Bon Bon Bakery, and Janice Jeansonne will be showcasing their specialties.

At 7:30, after the close of the silent auction, the live auction will begin with auctioneer Brian Fourroux. Throughout the evening, there will be a drawing for a $10,000 Raffle winner. Adults only, please.

Advanced tickets are available at the church office for $10/person or at the door for $15/person. A maximum of 300, $10,000 Raffle tickets will be sold. The purchase of a $100 Raffle ticket allows 2 adults to attend.

All proceeds from the auction will be used to provide start-up funds for the St. Alphonsus Festival of Two Rivers Fair, May 1-3. The night promises to be filled with food, fun and fellowship all while benefiting St. Alphonsus Parish and the Central community.
