CHS Football Blanks Northeast 38-0

By  |

The Wildcats improved their 2008 record to 3-0 tonight at home against the Vikings. The band also recorded another convincing win, maintaining a perfect 3-0 as well. Highlights of the game included a blocked punt by Josh Veals, a 44 yard fumble return for a score by Rovell Lee, a safety by Barrett Goudeau and touchdowns by Will Briscoe, Nick Giglio, Dequincy Brown, and Antonio Dunn. Mathew Thibodeaux was 4 for 4 on extra points and Giglio ran in a two point conversion on this week’s “Trick Play”, which is in the highlight videos below.

The defense held Northeast scoreless, allowing only 125 yards of total offense with only 8 completions in 23 attempts and a lowly 1.9 yards per rush.
