Central High Football Battles Two Johns in Scrimmage

Last Thursday the Central High football team took on two formidable opponents named John on West Jefferson’s new turf field in Harvey, Louisiana.  The format was an alternating possession 10 play offense and defense.  The competition was 2-A State Champ John Curtis and 5-A John Ehret.

Central’s defense held its own against the smash mouth offense of Curtis and also did well against the athletic spread of John Ehret.  Offensively the triple option looks to get better every time Central takes the field.

We encourage you to come see the new Wildcats this Friday night at Wildcat Stadium as they take on West Feliciana in the Jamboree.
