Weekly Church Update

St. Alphonsus is holding a Remembering Our Children candle light service on December 13 at 7 PM. People of all faiths are welcome. The death of a child at any age is devastating.  The darkness that sets in when a child has died is all too well known to families who have lost a child.  This year, on Worldwide Candle Light Day, St. Alphonsus Church will be providing the opportunity for grieving families and their friends to come together on Sunday, December 13 to celebrate the life, love and light of those children gone much too soon.  This candle light service will symbolize that the light of these precious children will forever be held in our hearts. If you have lost a child or know of someone who has please call the Church Office, 261-4650, so that we can personally invite them to this service.

Blackwater Methodist is holding Revival services November 19-22. Wesley Putnam will be the speaker. Services Thursday through Saturday are at 7 PM. Service Sunday morning is at 10 AM. An hour before the services begin, there will also be Bible Quest for children.

The Community Wide Thanksgiving Service is this Wednesday, November 18 at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. Everyone is invited to attend. The service begins at 7 PM. Tony Perkins will be the speaker.
