Help the CHS Fishing Team Stock the Central Food Bank

The Central High School Fishing Team is currently holding a food drive for the Central Food Bank.  All non-perishable foods are being accepted. (Please donate items in cans, cardboard, or plastic rather than in glass jars, as glass breaks easily in the collection bins.)  The most-requested items for this food drive are: cereal, oatmeal, grits, pop tarts, peanut butter, jelly (in plastic jars), bags of dried beans, Jiffy cornbread mix, spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce (in cans or plastic jars), canned meat, tuna, Vienna sausages, canned soup, canned fruit, boxes of macaroni and cheese, fruit cups, and drink mixes.  Toilet paper is also a need.  Lastly, if you would like to donate money, please make your check payable to the City of Central Food Bank.  Collection barrel locations include Central High School, Tanglewood Elementary School, Bellingrath Hills Elementary School, Central Winn Dixie, Sullivan’s Hardware, Whitney Bank, MePa’s Diner, and Hazel & Bliss.
