Why Pay Taxes For A School EBR Parish Was Supposed To Build?

Payments from EBR Parish School System:
The courts may rule that EBR Parish Schools should pay the Central Community School District for monies paid by Central residents for school construction projects, which never happened. There is no guarantee these funds will ever be awarded, and if they are, they will NOT fully cover the school district’s needs for capital outlay.
School Board members have pledged to use any funds gained from this court battle to pay down construction costs early, thereby reducing millages more quickly and saving taxpayers.
