Brotherhood/Sisterhood Program Honors Recipients

St. Alphonsus School is proud to announce its Brotherhood/Sisterhood Award Recipients for the 2008-2009 school term.  Students were selected by their homeroom teachers based on their interaction with others, courtesy, character traits and demonstration of living the gospel values.

 

Recipients of the award this year, Pre – K – 8th grade,  include Preston Caruso, Blair Entremont, Peter Vallet, Hailee Tran, Emma Huguet, Tanner Pike, Emma Thompson, Seth Cayer, Mark Williams, Camilla Nicosia, Tiana LeBlanc, Beau Powers, Alayna Tate, Joseph Nicosia, Carson Balthazar, Lily Corba, Adam Rispone, Taylor Pisanie, Brent Helouin, Ashlyn Hall, Karlie Strickland, Thomas Nicosia, Paige Harelson, Dustin Rodgers, Amy Newsom, Josh Smith, Ryan Broussard, Sara Whitlow, Jamie Cockerham, Cameron Esch, Grayson Boullion, Mason Cockerham, Dylan Martin, Mackenzie Caillouet, Myles Nash, Blakeli Entremont, Antonio Ragusa and Sydney Harelson.

 

In addition to those students selected from their respective homeroom, two eighth grade students and two faculty members were selected as overall winners of this prestigious award.  Kristen Shaffer and Garret Broussard were recognized as students who have modeled these traits throughout their schooling here at St. Alphonsus.  Ms. Julie Gautreaux and Ms. Missy Bordelon, selected by their peers, were recognized as outstanding faculty members receiving the Brotherhood/Sisterhood awards. 

 

Congratulations to all recipients.  We are proud to have you as members of our school family.  Thanks to EBR Police Chief, Jeff LeDuff, keynote speaker, who addressed our congregation on “Stepping up to the Challenge”.
