Rain or Shine, It’s Cooking Time

Devon Gales Homecoming Celebration Moved to Friday at 5 PM

   This Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2, Cooking in Central returns to Amazing Place, located on Blackwater Road between Hooper and Comite. Crawfish ($15/person) will be served from 5-7 p.m., and the Devon Gales celebration also begins at 5. Stay for live music by Henry Turner Jr. and Flavor and a dance competition.
   On Saturday, the annual cook-off will be judged at 11 a.m., with lunches ($10/plate) being served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Take part in more fun events like live music, auctions, and kids’ activities that include a greased pig contest.
   Come enjoy the weekend for a good cause (rain or shine). Advance food tickets are on sale at Central schools and at Ross Tire.
