The Central High School Varsity Lacrosse team opened their season this past Saturday, January 16, 2016, against the Rummel Raiders in New Orleans.
This was the first game that the veteran players of the Wildcats were playing alongside the new recruits for this year.  For some of the new players, this was not only the first game they had played in but also the first lacrosse game they had ever seen in person.
The Rummel Raiders finished the game with a 13-3 victory over the Wildcats.  Andy Law, Brody Falcon, and Jacob Norton scored goals for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats will be traveling back to New Orleans on Thursday, January 21 to face the Holy Cross Tigers.
