Agenda for January 28 Board of Adjustments Meeting

    The City of Central Board of Adjustments will hold a public hearing on January 28, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Kristenwood Meeting Facility, 14025 Greenwell Springs Rd, Central, LA 70739 to consider the following items:
    BOA-40-15 This property is located at 10225 South Ida Avenue on Lot 19-B of the Boganvilla Estates 2nd Filing Subdivision. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 2.2 B of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow a swimming pool in the side yard which is not allowed per code. The applicant is Vicki Burt.
    BOA-1-16 This property is located at 12428 Pheasantwood Drive on Lot 114 of the Willowwood Acres 2nd Filing. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 2.2 D (4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow an accessory building in excess of 1,000 square feet in the R1 (Single Family Residential One) Zoning District. The applicant proposes to install a 1,204 square foot building for storage of a recreational vehicle. The applicant is Leslie Burl.
    BOA-2-16 This property is located at 10440 Dyer Road on Tract X-1-C-1-A of the now or former Garland Watts Property. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 12.3 B(2) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to reduce the side yard setback from 25 feet to 4.25 feet in the RA (Rural Agricultural) Zoning District. The applicant proposes to build an addition to an existing home. The applicant is Clint Artieta.
