CHS Fishing Team Hosts Intra-team Tournament

    The Central High School Fishing Team of the 2015-16 school year held its first intra-team tournament Saturday, December 5, on Lake Verret.  All of the anglers weighed in.  Brock Kaufman and Patrick Johnson took first place with 9.21 lbs, Trevor Hadden and Jared Abbott took second place with 8.92 lbs, and Wyatt Ensminger and Dawson Andrews took third place with 8.06 lbs.  The Big Bass weighed in at 2.35 lbs caught by Trevor.  The next intra-team tournament will be held in January on the Calcasieu River.  Our anglers will compete in the 2nd qualifying tournament for the state competition in February.
