Wildcats in Playoffs: #4 Central Volleyball Faces #5 Belle Chasse Today

    Central High Volleyball is advancing to the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs after defeating Sam Houston on Monday, three games to one, in front of a packed gym at home. Game 1 went to Sam Houston in a 19-25 loss, but the Wildcats found their rhythm and took the next three games with scores of 25-11, 25-16, and 25-15. Central had a bye in the bi-regional round before winning the regional match.  The #4 seed Central Wildcats will face the #5 seed Belle Chasse Cardinals today at 4:20 p.m. at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner.  Congratulations to the Wildcats for a fantastic regular season, and good luck today!
