Bryan Westmoreland and Taylor Heikes to Wed in Prairieville

    Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Heikes of Zachary, Louisiana are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Lane Heikes to Brian Joseph Westmoreland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Westmoreland of Zachary, Louisiana. The couple will exchange vows on June 4, 2016 in a ceremony to be held at Parc73 in Prairieville, Louisiana. 
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Alford Blankenship and the late Mrs. Jean Blankenship of Wildersville, Tennessee, Mr. and Mrs. Marlyn Heikes of Lexington, Tennessee and the great grand daughter of the late Mrs. Lucille Roberts of Lexington, Tennessee.  Taylor is a graduate of Zachary High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. Taylor currently teaches at the Math, Science and Arts Academy – West in Plaquemine, Louisiana. 
    Her fiancé is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Auburn Phillips Sr., of Baker, Louisiana and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Westmoreland of Baker, Louisiana. Brian is a graduate of Starkey Academy High School. He is currently employed as a foreman at Baton Rouge Water Company. 
    An Announcement party hosted by the bride’s parents was held on June 27, 2015 in Zachary, Louisiana. Following their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Central.
