Give the Gift of Life: Blood Drive for Briggs

A blood drive is being held for Briggs Elliser, the six month old son of Brittany and Bryan Elliser and grandson of Royeann and Charlie Kinsley. Briggs has a rare liver disease and has been through many tests, treatments, and surgeries, and more lie ahead.

Ochsner Blood Bank’s Bloodmobile is coming to do a blood drive at DeAngelo’s Restaurant at 9952 Sullivan Road in Central this Monday, July 20 from 3 to 8 p.m. All donors will receive 20% off your meal at Central DeAngelo’s the day of the blood drive, and you will get a blood bank t-shirt.

Individuals taking medication for high blood pressure or cholesterol CAN still donate.
ALL blood types are needed!
Please remember to bring a picture ID and eat something healthy before donating.
