April 2015 Building Permits

    During the month of April 2015 in the city of Central, a total of 11 new residential permits were issued.  The total valuation of these permits was $2,582,366.  
    Within these April permits, one was issued in Hampton Village Estates with a valuation of $372,678; five in Twin Lakes Estates with an average valuation of $219,653; one in Burlington Lakes valued at $162,000; one in the 11400 block of Hwy 64 valued at $282,074; one in the 13300 block of Wood Creek Dr valued at $366,270; and two in the Gates at Burlington with an average valuation of  $150,539.
    Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes.  The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.
    On the commercial side, plan reviews were submitted for the following: 
1.  Life Tabernacle Church, 9323 Hooper Rd, 12,000 sq. ft addition.
2.  Village at Magnolia Square Community Pavillion, 7600 N. Eisworth, 1,620 sq. ft.
