8th Grade Parent Meetings

    There will be 8th grade parent informational meetings held on April 13 for non-public parents, April 15 for CMS parents A-L, and April 16 for CMS Parents M-Z. All meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Central High School gymnasium.
    During the meeting we will complete all schedule request forms, discuss graduation requirements, the 9th grade honors program, and the 9th grade academy structure for the 2015-2016 school year. Parents and students should attend. 
    CCSS will not require nonpublic students to take the PARCC or LEAP this year. However, there will be a placement test taken in lieu of the two state Standardized tests. Test Dates: June 1, 8, 15, July 6 and 27.
The test will last about 4 hours. Parents will be able to register online and it will be first come first serve. Information will be on the website soon!
    School registration will begin at the school board office to verify proof of address. The guidance office at CHS will be open for registration May 25– June 5, and will re-open two weeks prior to the first day of school.
