Senior Crime Prevention Expo April 7

    On behalf of the EBR Parish S.A.L.T./Triad Council (Seniors And Lawmen Together), you are invited to participated in the 2015 Senior Crime Prevention Expo to be held on Tuesday April 7, 2015. There is no charge for the community for this event.   It will be held at First Baptist Church, 4200 Main Street, Zachary LA from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  The purpose of the Expo is to provide information to seniors in East Baton Rouge Parish regarding various services, programs, and functions offered by area businesses, non-profit organizations, hospitals, nursing facilities, clinics, universities, and government agencies.  We also aim to give attendees a more comprehensive understanding of the underlying issues related to crime and provide them with the tools to take responsibility and “minimize the risk” ultimately making the community a safer place for all.
     With complimentary lunch, giveaways, and entertainment throughout the day, this event will grow to be a fun and vital asset for the community.
