Notice of Public Meeting: Proposed TND on Sullivan Rd

    You are invited to attend a meeting being held by Southern Lifestyle Development at BREC’s Lovett Road Park Recreation Center located at 13443 Lovett Road Central, LA 70818 on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at 6:00pm to introduce the following proposed project: 
    The Settlement on Shoe Creek is a 135.29 acre traditional neighborhood development consisting of 448 single family detached and attached residential lots that encompass 66.38 acres (49.1%). There will also be 250 multi-family residential units (apartments). There will also be approximately 100,000 square feet of general commercial retail and neighborhood business/office units that encompass 11.32 acres (8.4%). This commercial will consist of restaurants, banks, coffee shop(s), potentially a market/grocer, boutiques and other similar retailers. There will be 35.7 acres of open space (26.4%). This open space will consist of landscape parks, lakes and common greenspaces accessible to the public. There will also be jogging and walking trails in addition to a community pool/clubhouse. 
     We are holding this meeting to tell you about the proposal and invite your comments and questions. As required by the City of Central comprehensive zoning code, it is being conducted before we apply for preliminary plan approval under application number TND-1-15.
