Nicole Shaffett and Brett Harris to Wed in July

    Kimberly “Nicole” Shaffett of Greenwell Springs, and Brett Nelson Harris of Houston, will marry on Friday, July 17, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. at Southern Oaks Plantation in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Mike Haman of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge.
     The bride-elect is the daughter of Laurie and Charlie Shaffett of Greenwell Springs.  She is the granddaughter of Clif Barnett and his late wife Joni of Baton Rouge and the late Margaret and Dudley Shaffett of Baton Rouge.
     The bride-elect is a graduate of Central High School and Louisiana State University.  She is the Business Development and Marketing Manager of the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.   The firm is one of the most prestigious and selective law firms in the United States and ranks among the most successful firms globally.
     Her fiancé is the son of Debbie and John Harris, of Houston, Texas.  He is the grandson of Bill Neinast and his late wife Nell of College Station, Texas, and the late Ruby and Herman Harris of Wellington, Texas.  He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Technology Management.  He is a Principal Architect for eVerge Group, an Oracle Platinum Partner, where he currently oversees a project team implementing a technology roadmap for a major international company in Toronto, Canada.
    The couple currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
