Brenda and Robert (Buddy) Ashford Celebrate 50th Anniversary

    Brenda and Buddy Ashford of Central celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 19,  2015.  The couple was honored by family and dear friends on Friday, February 20 for a  banquet dinner party at Sammy’s upon their return from an anniversary trip to Tennessee. 
    The celebration included a musical DVD made by their niece Shelby which displayed a photo slide show with several of their wedding pictures and many blessed memories “Through the Years.”  The couple was given keepsakes of pictures including a very special-made collage frame of pictures from the last fifty years by their children.
     The couple’s children and their spouses are Joyce & Wesley Lafleur of Paris, Texas,  Sharla and Jeff Ducote of Watson,  Robert (Bubba) Ashford and Ashlynn of Central.  They have eight grandchildren, Kailie, Kassidy, Dylan, Payton, Paige, Dawson, Cheyenne, and Dakota, with another grandaughter on the way.  They have two great grandchildren,   Ellah & Emilia. 
    Brenda and Buddy are life-long members at Galilee Baptist Church. The couple enjoy spending time together with family,  traveling, and most of all spoiling their grandchildren.
