Six Local Girls Advance to International Beauty Pageant

Six local girls from the Baton Rouge area competed in the Louisiana State International Jr Miss pageant held in Kenner, LA. Contestants from all over Louisiana and along the Gulf Coast competed for six state queen titles and regional titles. International Junior Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4-24, and have six different age divisions. Everyone competed in interview, fun fashion, and evening gown. Several side competitions were offered such as TV Commercial, Casual Wear, Photogenic, Volunteerism, Academics, and more. The following local young ladies achieved these accomplishments:
Kailah Fresina (Zachary) – IJM Miss Louisiana’s Jr Princess (4-6 years), Volunteerism Award, Photogenic winner, Talent winner
Caitlin Hager (Baton Rouge) – IJM Miss Louisiana’s Princess (7-9 years), Academic Award
Anna Claire Reily (Central) – IJM Miss Gulf Shores’ Princess (7-9 years), Volunteerism Award, TV Commercial winner, Casual Wear winner, Photogenic Winner
Ailynn Fresina (Zachary) – IJM Miss Pelican State Princess (7-9 years), Talent Winner
Layna Baker (Baker) – IJM Miss Gulf Shore’s Preteen (10-12 years), Academic Award, Ad sales winner, TV Commercial winner
Kaitlyn Ruth (Pride) – IJM Miss Pelican State Preteen (10-12 years), Volunteerism Award, Talent Winner
The newly crowned winners will have the opportunity to represent their titles throughout the year at various local and state events. These beautiful beauty queens will now advance to the International Junior Miss competition held July 20-26, 2015, in Virginia Beach, VA, to vie for the international titles and earn over $3,500 in scholarships, free trips across the country as well as abroad, designer endorsements, photo shoots, and many more fabulous prizes.
