Carla Hooks and Matthew Brumfield to Wed February 28

Processed with VSCOcam with s3 preset    Carla Michelle Hooks and Matthew Kade Brumfield will marry in a five o'clock ceremony on February 28, 2015 at the LSU BCM Chapel.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of Reddoch and Lesley Hooks of DeRidder.  She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jeans of DeRidder, the late Mr. Ralph Hooks of DeRidder, and the late Mrs. Beverly Jorgensen of Marksville, and Mrs. Clarice Blanton of Roswell, New Mexico.  She is a graduate of DeRidder High School and Louisiana State University where she earned a Masters Degree in Social Work.  She is employed as a community service representative for Home Instead Senior Care in Baton Rouge.
    Her fiance is the son of Jon and Wendy Brumfield of Greenwell Springs.  He is the grandson of Janel Brumfield and the late W. A. Brumfield of Baton Rouge, and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Ducote of Port Allen.  He is a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge and Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  He is employed as an accountant at CB & I in Baton Rouge.
    An engagement celebration honoring the couple was hosted by Jeryl and Kennon Breaux at the Breaux home.
