The City of Central Board of Adjustments will hold a public hearing on January 22, 2015 at 5:00pm at the at Kristenwood Meeting Facility, 14025 Greenwell Springs Rd, Central, LA 70739 to consider the following item(s):
1) BOA-27-14 This property is located at 6140 Morgan Road on Lot 12 of Bellingrath Estates Subdivision First Filing. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 2.2 D (4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow an accessory building that exceeds 1,000 square feet in the R1 (Single Family Residential One) Zoning District and reduce the side yard setback to 2 feet. The applicant proposes to construct a 1,200 square foot RV Cover. The applicant is Matt Pokorney.
2) BOA-28-14 This property is located at 11999 Gurney Road on Tract 2A. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 2.2 D (4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow an accessory building that exceeds 1,600 square feet in the Rural/Agricultural Zoning District. The applicant proposes to construct a 7,200 square foot barn for storage. The applicant is Walter Wall.
3) BOA-29-14 This property is located at 13463 Denham Road on a Lot A of the former Mitchell Wilfred Property. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 19.2 (5) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow an accessory dwelling unit in excess of 1,000 square feet in the R1 (Single Family Residential One) Zoning District. The applicant proposes to install around a 1,200 square foot manufactured home. The applicant is Wayne J. Savant.
