In Memoriam: Vanessa Prejean

    Vanessa Miller Prejean, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Pride, passed away January 2, 2015 at the age of 54.  Vanessa was a Human Resource Analyst with the Louisiana House of Representatives.

    Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral East, 11000 Florida Blvd on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 4pm until 7pm with the recitation of Rosary at 6pm.  Visitation will continue at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church  on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am officiated by Rev. Mike Maroney.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.  
    Vanessa is survived by her mother, Dorothy L. Miller, son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Laura Beth Prejean, daughter Lindsey Prejean, two grandchildren, William and Camille Prejean; former spouse, Bradley Prejean along with numerous other family members.  Preceded in death by her father, John E. Miller.  She was a graduate of Redemptorist High School and Louisiana State University.  She was a wonderful caring daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend and she we be greatly missed by all.
