November 2014 Building Permits

    During the month of November 2014 in the city of Central, a total of 3 new residential permits were issued.  The total valuation of these permits was $1,053,934.  A total of 130 new residential permits have been issued so far in 2014.
    Within these permits, one was issued in Burlington Lakes valued at $168,140; one in Bellingrath Lakes valued at $248,866; and one in Village at Magnolia Square valued at $636,928.
    Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes.  The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.
    On the commercial side, permits were applied for a 1607 sq. ft. commercial addition at 9432A Joor Rd; an 1800 sq. ft remodeling at 14455 Wax Rd, Ste T; a 1200 sq. ft. remodeling at 14409 Wax Rd, Ste E; and a 650 sq. ft. remodeling at 13623 Hooper Rd, Ste C.
