Thank You, Veterans!

    On Veterans Day, the Central Veterans and Soldiers Celebration was hosted at Central Intermediate by the Republican Women of Central, Blue Star Mothers Geaux Severn Chapter, Central Community School System, the Central Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Central Republican Coalition.  The Central High Jazz Band and ensembles from the Central Community Chorus provided music.  Guest speakers included Councilman and US Army Veteran Jason Ellis, Central High JROTC Battalion Commander Landon Disadere, Sergeant John Austin Stukins of the US Marine Corp, Captain Alejandra Juan of the Louisiana Air National Guard, and Louisiana Senator Elbert Guillory, a US Navy Veteran.
    Veterans present were recognized and thanked during the ceremony, which was attended by hundreds of community members.  Thank you to all of our veterans!
