During the month of August 2014 in the city of Central, a total of 9 new residential permits were issued. The total valuation of these permits was $1,949,088.
Within these August permits, three were in Woodstock with an average valuation of $220,916; one in Gates at Burlington valued at $149,680; one in Twin Lakes Estates valued at $193,600; one in the 11400 block of Lovett Rd valued at $221,900; one in the 18800 block of Greenwell Springs Rd valued at $201,996; one in the 12200 block of Country Estates Ave valued at $269,302; and one in the 6200 block of Morgan Rd valued at $303,862.
Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes. The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.
On the commercial side, plan review documents and permit applications were submitted for the following: 1) Taco Bell at 11991 Hooper Rd; 2) Demolition of the old Central Middle School; and 3) Remodeling of 14465 Wax Rd, Ste A for Greg Callihan.
