Political Sign Reminder

By  |

From the City of Central
Political and campaign signs as well as any other signs cannot be placed in the street right-of-way.  The right-of-way is the area within and alongside roadways normally to the outer banks of a roadside ditch or the area between the utility poles and the street.  Signs placed within this area are subject to removal by any citizen as they are considered "litter" by definition.  Fines of $25 per day can be assessed as well.
