St. Alphonsus Cheerleaders Attend UCA Camp

The St. Alphonsus Cheerleaders attended UCA cheer camp at Southeastern this summer. The girls earned numerous awards in the large junior high division. The team received blue superior ribbons for their evaluations each day. They also received the highest spirit award on the second day of camp. The girls finished up camp placing 2^nd in extreme routine, 2^nd in band dance, 1^st in cheer, 1^st in sideline and were chosen as the overall game day champion.

8^th graders Trystan Tate, Alayna Tate, Grace Knapps, and Addison Porche were selected as All- American Cheerleaders. Rachel Lemoine was selected as a finalist in the jump off competition.

The 2014-2015 Hornet cheerleaders are (6^th grade) Kristen Pulliam, Grace Pizzolato, Anna Sanches, Leah Gil, (7^th grade) Jolan Taylor, Lauren Leep, (8^th grade) Trystan Tate, Alayna Tate, Grace Knapps, Addison Porche, Rachel Lemoine, Rachael Coates, Morgan Kennedy, Julia Charleville, Julia Gullett, Maddie Toler, Elizabeth Pennington, and Natalie Lazaroe. The girls are coached by Ally Smith.
