School Board Meeting Tonight

The Central Community School Board will meet tonight, Monday, August 11, at 6 PM in the meeting room of the administrative office on Joor Road.  The meeting is open to the public.

   5. To consider approval of the minutes from the Regular School Board Meeting held on Monday, July 28, 2014 and take appropriate action.
   6. To consider the Superintendent's recommendation for administrative, instructional and support staff positions and take appropriate action. (Mr. Faulk)
   7. To consider adopting a Resolution to the Municipalities Continuing Disclosure Cooperative Initiative of the Securities and Exchange Commission and take appropriate action. (Mr. Schlueter)
   8. To receive a report from the Facilities/Equipment Committee Meeting held on August 6, 2014 and take appropriate action on the following items:
   a. Status report regarding Demolition/Asbestos Project at the Former Central Middle School.
   b. Report outlining issues by the Civil Engineer.
   9. To consider a Change Order in the amount of $69,937.88 for additional asbestos abatement at the Former Central Middle School Site and take appropriate action. (Mr. Faulk)
   10. To consider an Out-of-State Field Trip Request and take appropriate action. (Mr. Faulk)
   11. To consider suspension of School Board Policy in order to enact policy requirements in accordance with Act 570 dealing with Tenure and Dismissal of Personnel. (Mr. Faulk)
   12. To consider a 1st Reading of the proposed changes to Policy F – Personnel. (Mr. Faulk)
   13. To consider approval of a Memorandum of Understanding from Baton Rouge Community College and their partnership opportunities with the Central Community School System. (Mr. Faulk)
