In Memoriam: James Ray Rose

    James Ray Rose, 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at his home in Zachary, LA. He served and defended his country in the United States Army. James was also a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Central, LA, on Friday, May 23, from 9 a.m. until service at 2 p.m. Private graveside with military honors will be held at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary. Survived by his loving wife, Gladys Ardoin Rose; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Paul Norwood; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Lisa Rose; grandchildren, Shannon and Brandon Norwood, Madelyn Rose, and Trent and Dusty Pike; sister, Jane Meche; brothers, Harry Rose, Jr. and Carlton Rose; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Clara Johnson Rose; sister, Ella Mae Rose Venable; and brother, Harold Rose.
